Hexagon Piece B RE4 Remake Location And Puzzle Guide

The Resident Evil 4 remake features several optional environmental puzzles that reward players with valuable treasures for their survival journey. Among these challenges, the Stone Pedestal puzzle near the lake requires collecting three distinct key items scattered across different chapters. Finding Hexagon Piece B is a critical step for players who want to unlock these lucrative rewards early in the game.

Finding Hexagon Piece B in the Fish Farm

Hexagon Piece B is located inside the Fish Farm area, which players visit during Chapter 3 while searching for boat fuel. Before grabbing the boat fuel in the back building, drop down into the shallow water near the wooden walkways. Wade under the raised platform pathways to find a small red chest sitting on a muddy bank.

Clearing out nearby enemies, including the formidable hammer-wielding enemy, will make searching much safer. Open the chest to retrieve Hexagon Piece B before heading back toward the lake shore. This item stays safely in your key inventory until you are ready to assemble the complete set.

Locations for Hexagon Pieces A and C

To complete the pedestal set, players must also locate Hexagon Piece A and Hexagon Piece C in surrounding regions. Hexagon Piece A is located in Chapter 3 right opposite the Merchant's shop stall in the Quarry area. You can easily grab it from a small chest on a workbench before descending into the lower caverns.

Hexagon Piece C becomes accessible in Chapter 4 when you gain full access to the motorboat. Sail toward the Small Cave Shrine in the northeast corner of the lake and solve the symbol puzzle inside. You will find the final piece in a treasure box sitting right next to the ladder.

Solving the Stone Pedestal Puzzle

Once all three pieces are acquired, return to the Stone Pedestal situated on the southwest shore of the lake. Place all three hexagon pieces into the dais to activate the image alignment puzzle. The objective is to rotate groups of three tiles until the image of Del Lago is restored.

On Standard or Assisted difficulty, solving the puzzle requires only two simple moves from the default layout. Simply rotate the left group once and then rotate the top group once to align the tiles. If playing on Hardcore or Professional difficulty, rotate the right group twice, the left group twice, and the top group once.

Rewards for Completing the Stone Pedestal

Successfully aligning the image unlocks the Stone Pedestal and yields the Depraved Idol treasure. This golden artifact can be sold directly to the Merchant for a substantial payout of 15,000 Pesetas. Securing this reward early allows Leon to upgrade key weapons and purchase crucial equipment for upcoming battles.
